When practice is intermittent, habitual thought patterns fill the space. A consistent practice creates the conditions for harnessing clarity and peace.

Often times we hear comments and mental limitations expressed towards why one doesn’t feel ready for yoga…
- “I’m not flexible enough!”
- “I’m not in good enough shape yet!”
- Fear of not fitting in.
- Dealing with chronic injuries or limitations
- Experienced trauma and or discomfort in the body.
- Difficulty tuning inward.
- Limited availability in schedule
- Postures look intimidating
- Not sure where to start…
Yoga is a very personal journey of coming home into union with oneself and the world around you. When we remove the intimidation of ego in competition or forms of self judgment, we then focus on healing of the mind, body and spirit. Simply by showing up as we are in the moment.
Yoga tunes us inward to feel and observe the interactions of mind to body connection. Through pranayama (breath work) and asana (postures) the body gains in circulation, flexibility, range of motion, tissue hydration and a sharpening of mental clarity through that flow of chi (energy). At Samsara, we offer a wide range of class options from beginners to an intermediate level of practice with multiple time options and through a zoom link to practice from home. Send a PM with any questions or send comments below to build your confidence in your yoga journey.
We are one. We are united. Not sure where to start? Start where you are.

What yoga posture best represents you in your essence and why?!
“Hi! My name is Andrew and I started yoga about two years ago, at a point where I was realizing how important movement, flexibility, strength, and balance are as I get older. Since then, yoga has become a way for me to show up for myself and stay connected to my body. The posture that makes me feel most connected to myself is Humble Warrior. To me, it feels like a bow of gratitude — to the practice, to my body, and to the effort of showing up. It reminds me to be humble about both my limitations and my strengths. It may appear simple, but it still requires balance, control, and focus. I feel grateful that my body can now do things that were more difficult when I started. Humble Warrior reflects that journey for me: strength with surrender, effort with gratitude, and balance both on and off the mat.”

We want to hear from you, our students!
Featuring this week, Dr. Elvira Prusaczyk. Department of psychology at St. F.X University.
What yoga posture do you feel most in your essence and why?
“Tadasana, or Mountain Pose, is the posture that makes me feel most like myself. When I soften and roll my shoulders back and down, engage my core, gently tuck my pelvis, and root through my legs, something shifts—I feel anchored, present, and purposeful all at once. My breath slows, and I reconnect with my body in a way that feels steady and intentional.
Tadasana brings me back to myself whenever I feel scattered, overwhelmed, or disconnected. There’s something so powerful about feeling strong and soft at the same time—grounded yet open, stable yet at ease. In a pose that looks like I’m simply standing still, I’m practicing how I want to move through the world: with openness instead of tension, and with a strong sense of purpose. It reminds me that these aren’t states I have to wait for—they’re ones I choose and return to again and again.”
