As the 2025–2026 season comes to an end, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported the Antigonish Senior ‘A’ Bulldogs throughout the year.

Entering the league’s inaugural season, there was plenty of speculation about what the success of both the team and the league might look like. As the season progressed, Antigonish made one thing very clear — this team is built on talented players, committed coaches, dedicated staff, and incredible support from our community. That support is something we take great pride in.

As the NSSHL said when recognizing our leadership this season: “Matt Ryder built the Bulldogs exactly how you’d expect a team from Antigonish to be: hard to play against, big, strong, and consistently able to win close games. His vision and leadership in assembling a competitive roster earned him this year’s General Manager of the Year award.”

To our players, coaches, staff, families, volunteers and fans — thank you. Your support means everything to us, and this team would not be possible without you.

We would also like to extend a very special thank you to our corporate partner, Ron MacGillivray’s Chev Buick GMC, as well as all of our community partners for their continued support throughout the season.
