Please join us in congratulating Sophie (StarSkate) and Melanie (Junior Academy) — our December Skaters of the Month!

These two athletes have been shining examples of what it means to be part of our club. They consistently:
- show outstanding work ethic on the ice
- arrive on time and ready to train
- bring a positive, uplifting attitude to every session
- support their peers

We’re so proud of the growth, effort, and energy both Sophie and Melanie bring to the rink. Keep reaching for your goals — your hard work is inspiring to everyone around you!

Looking for something for your teen? Check out our new TEEN Skating class that starts in January! Wednesdays 5:45-6:30pm. Learn to Skate program for ages 13-17. Skaters must be able to get up, skate forwards and move backwards on their own without assistance or an aid. Program will include 45 minutes of coach direction with some independent practice. We still have a few spots available to join our fall session as our Learn to Skate classes kick off this week. Visit https://www.asfsc.ca/registration/ to find a class! We even have a Learn to Skate class for specifically for adults who want to build their confidence on the ice- Come SKATE with us!

Registration is now open! A few changes to note this year:
1. For STAR skaters we opened the option to register for the full Sept thru March session instead of breaking into fall and winter registration.
2. ASFSC is very excited to welcome Coach Leeann Wilkins an additional head coach who will be overseeing our figure skating programs!!!Happy registering!

Wondering what to wear in the parade?
Attire depends on the weather: If it is raining, please show up with proper rain gear. If the weather is hot and sunny, please bring water and apply sunscreen. If you have any ASFSC gear or a skating dress, please feel free to wear it!Otherwise, wear something bright and comfortable, it is a long walk.
