The Armstrong Shamrocks punched their ticket to the league championship game this afternoon with a 21-5 victory over the Kamloops Rattlers in the semi-final.

Now there’s just one game left.

Tonight, the Kelowna Raiders and Vernon Tigers battle it out at 8:00 PM to determine who will face the Shamrocks in tomorrow’s championship.

The Shamrocks have been the team to beat all season, finishing 1st overall in the regular season. Tomorrow, they’ll have one final opportunity to finish what they’ve worked for all year and bring the championship back to Armstrong.

After finishing 1st overall in the regular season, the Shamrocks have earned the top seed—but that was just the beginning. The playoffs are a whole new season, and every game is do-or-die.

Was a great turnout for Masters Night! 1st star was 72 year old Rich Zechell, 2nd star 62 year old Pat Nelson, 3 star 57 year old Glenn “Stumpy” Mitchell.

The Armstrong Shamrocks are hosting another Masters Lacrosse Scrimmage on Tuesday, June 16th at 8:00 PM at the Sunbelt Center in Armstrong.

This is open to anyone age 30+ from the Thompson/Okanagan region looking to get out for a fun, friendly game of lacrosse.

Plan is:
Light warm-up
Throw sticks in the middle to divide teams
Play a friendly Masters game
Rules and format will be gone over before we start play.
Minimum equipment required:
Helmet
Gloves
Stick
