🎮🧗 THE TEEN CENTRE & CLIMBING WALLS ARE OPEN!

Looking for somewhere for the kids to go after school? The Southland Co-op Centre Teen Centre is open for kids in Grade 5 and up!

Come hang out, play PS5 or Xbox, tackle the climbing walls, get some homework done, or just chill with friends after school. It’s a great space to get out of the house, be active and spend some time with friends!

Modified September Hours:
Monday–Friday | 3:30–8:00 PM
Alternate School Days | 1:00–8:00 PM

A little reminder about respecting our community facilities.

Unfortunately, we recently had kids open a mouse bait station and spread its contents throughout the dressing room area.

This isn’t just a mess for our staff to clean up- mouse bait is a safety concern and should never be touched or tampered with.

We work hard to keep the Southland Co-op Centre open, warm, clean and welcoming for everyone. We want kids to feel comfortable here. We want them hanging out at the rink, watching hockey, skating and enjoying the facility.

But with that freedom comes some responsibility.

Please respect the building, the equipment and the work that goes into keeping this facility available for our community. If you’re a parent or coach, we’d appreciate you having that conversation with your kids and players as well.

We love having a busy rink. We just need everyone to help us take care of it. ❤️🏒

OH WHAT A NIGHT!! 🤩🏒

Thank you to the Moose Jaw Warriors & Swift Current Broncos for bringing WHL hockey to Assiniboia and playing your preseason game at the Southland Co-op Centre!

What a game!! Fast, physical, hard-hitting hockey from start to finish, there was never a dull minute! 🔥

Nights like this are pretty special for our community. Seeing that rink full and hearing that building ROCKIN’ was something else.
