We would like to thank everyone that helped make our 2022 season another huge success. Here’s a big guy spotted this morning that made the season and will be on next years hit list.

We are getting close. 3 weeks until show time! Who else can’t wait for the snow to fly and the big boys to make their mistakes?

Another successful 3 month guiding season in the NWT is in the books. The country, game, and adventure that the Mackenzie Mountains hold is unlike anywhere else in the world. Already looking forward to next summer!

The border is now open to unvaccinated American hunters!

Hello everyone. My name is Brenan Grove and along with my fiancé Ricki, we are proud to announce we are the new owners of Buck Mountain Outfitters.

Many of you will know me as I have been a guide for Buck Mountain since 2013. Over the past decade, I have fallen in love with the area and the incredible game that it holds. When the business came up for sale we jumped at the opportunity to get our hands on the best trophy whitetail area that Alberta has to offer. We are excited to be operating out of a new lodge and along with some familiar faces and some new ones, provide a quality Northern Alberta hunting experience that will exceed expectations.

A huge thank you goes out to Merv, Shirley, Kaine, and the entire Purschke family for all the great years I was fortunate to work for you. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you guys. We are proud to carry the Buck Mountain name forward and know that we will do you proud.

To all of the past and future clients, we look forward to hearing from you and providing you all with memories for a lifetime.
