Billy Loutit Triathlon

For any athletes who did not get a race shirt: I have put in the order and hope to have them within the next couple of weeks. Then they can wear their shirts to school with pride. :)

Thanks again to our fabulous volunteers who helped out on Saturday. I was able to put 36 names in the hat to draw for door prize gift cards that were donated by Aspen View Public Schools. That is 36 thoughtful and generous people plus I know there were more who helped out in small ways that maybe just didn't check in for an official "job".
The winners of the gift cards are Makayla Sheppard, Lynn Olson, Cedar Hamlyn, Marlene Van Hees, Tara Jardine and Crystal Holdis.
I will be in touch with winners soon to ensure they all get their winnings!

Receiving one of our sweet medals at the finish line was amazing BUT nothing beats a finish line hug from your biggest fan!

We did it!!! Thanks to everyone who made this morning’s race a big success.

Racers: be proud of yourselves! You all raced your hearts out and persevered through cold conditions (and some a bit of extra distance 😣). Thanks for being troopers and making your parents proud!

Volunteers: you totally rock!! I had more help this year than ever and I truly appreciate it. Clean up today was a breeze with so many people.

Parents/grandparents: thanks so much for making sport a priority for your family! Registering your kids and encouraging them to take part is so important.

All parents should have received one email this week with pre-race information. If you didn't get it or you still have questions please contact me.
I am setting up bike racks in the EPC parking lot at 6pm if anyone wants to come help us. 🙂
If you or your racer has questions please come by between 7 & 7:30 tonight once transition is set up and the run course is marked and I can show them where they will go and how it will look for tomorrow morning!

Our kids' triathlon is going to have a record number of participants this year! To make this event possible we NEED VOLUNTEERS to help us out. Volunteer shifts are no more than 3 hours and you'll be blown away by the fun you'll have motivating and helping these little athletes. Check the link to sign up!
