February’s coach of the month is Mally! Here’s a bit about her:
💙 Coach Mally used to compete for KSG, and worked her way up to level six
💙 She’ll be representing KSG again in March in her first masters meet!
💙 She’s currently working towards a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University

Our athlete of the month for February 2024 is Maya! This is awarded to an athlete that upholds the traits of a Kids Supergym athlete, includong commitment, dedication, teamwork, and a positive work ethic. Get to know Maya:

💙 This is Maya’s first season competing level four
💙 She rocked in Midland this past weekend, improving her all around score by over a point and taking two event gold medals 🥇🥇
💙 She loves to train bars!

January’s coach of the month is Giada! Here’s a little bit about her:
💙 Coach Giada used to be a competitive gymnast at KSG
💙 She currently plays competitive basketball, and is a shooting guard for Above The 6
💙 She loves seeing live music!

Our first athlete of the month for 2024 is Kaideonna! This is awarded to the athlete that upholds the traits of a Kids Supergym athlete, including commitment, dedication, teamwork, and a positive work ethic. Get to know Kaideonna:

💙 She is a newcomer to our TG team, and won her first tumbling competition ever last week!
💙 Her sports career spans artistic gymnastics, cheer, powerlifting, and diving.
💙 She goes by Kaid with her teammates here at KSG

Our entire competitive team started the qualifier season with a bang! Congratulations to all of our athletes on showing your families, teammates, coaches, and judges how strong you are. As a team, we had plenty of personal bests, and new skills competed for the first time!

🥇 Team KSG pulled in 64 medals, and saw 6 of our gymnasts come home as overall champions! Way to go Cassia, Abbey, Kaideonna, Saba, Julia, and Rosalyn!!

✈️ Saba and Coach Cameron will be travelling to Oklahoma to represent Team Ontario. Our TG team is starting the season as one of the strongest teams in the province!

➡️ Next up: ‘s Gymfinity Challenge in Midland, and ‘s 2nd TG Ontario Cup

✨ Huge congratulations to Saba who has qualified for TG Team Ontario level 3 Tumbling team and will be representing Ontario in Oklahoma this March.

🌟Coach Cameron has also been named Team Coach and will be accompanying Saba and the rest of the team in OK.

Our season officially kicks off tomorrow morning, and we want you to help wish our athletes good luck at their competitions:

⛵️ ’ Party on the Portside: Levels 1-9, Xcel Bronze and Gold

🏆 ’ 1st TG Ontario Cup: Levels P1-3

And an extra special good luck to our NINE gymnasts who will be marching into their first gymnastics competition ever this weekend! Our coaching staff are very proud of the whole team’s hard work, and we can’t wait to see it in action over the coming days.

🎉 Congratulations to Raegan for shining at the Arizona Grand Competition in Phoenix, AZ, Jan 18-20, 2024!

🌟 In Level 9, she secured 8th on vault, 8th all-around and an impressive 4th on floor!!

🏆 Team Ontario soared to victory, claiming the first-place team win! 👏

Tomorrow we kick off our final week of regular gymnastics classes until the new year! Camp will run on select dates over the following two weeks, with our regular schedule resuming again on Friday January 5th.
