Let’s get moving, together!

Finding a form of exercise or movement that you enjoy is vital to your overall health & wellbeing. We all know how important it is to get our bodies moving but it doesn’t need to be complicated.
In addition to attending our classes we always encourage our members to think of ways you can incorporate movement outside of the studio. Taking the stairs at work, walking your dog around the block, or even dancing to a few of your favourite songs at home. It’s all about getting into the habit of moving and you will soon find it becomes your new normal!

We are SO excited to get you moving and back into your favourite Svelte classes IN studio. ‼️
We have missed you and working out with our community under one roof. We have taken all the steps we need to shift our studio with the necessary adjustments to make your workout familiar, safe and fun (as always!). The studio will look a little differently than the last time you were in. Stay tuned for some more details and photos for you to see the new & improved Svelte, along with the August schedule (don’t worry your passes have been extended until November 28th)!

SVELTE TEAM SPOTLIGHT ✨ EMILY ✨
How long have you been in the fitness industry? 🏃♀️
I became a certified yoga instructor in 2013 and pursued my extensive pilates certifications soon after. I also worked part time in fitness studios and gyms all throughout high school.
What do you love most about Svelte? 💖
The intensity! The members, the teachers, the energy - everyone is constantly pushing and growing and always showing up.
What’s your favourite form of movement/exercise? 🧘♀️
The obvious answer is pilates, I truly believe in the method. But I also love walking outside. There’s something so therapeutic about gently moving your body in fresh air.
What’s your favourite post-workout snack or meal?🍏
Coffee with the girls after class, followed by a nutritious and delicious smoothie.
If you could pick a celebrity to workout or train with, who would it be?🤩
I would love to rock out on the reformer with Taylor Swift. We would have so much fun singing and dancing our way through class. Hopefully that would score me tickets to her concerts!
What can you be found doing on your day off?
Some of my favourite things to do when I have time off is taking my dog on big trail walks. We have so many beautiful trails around us and it’s so nice to get out and explore them. I also love baking so could be found in the kitchen baking and eating up a storm.
When I have a bit more time off, I love traveling with my husband and friends.
