We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and had a chance to enjoy some sunshine, holidays, and time with family and friends! ☀️

Now that school is back in swing and fall is around the corner, we’re getting ready to welcome everyone back for another bowling season!

Our regular hours return next week, Monday, September 14th.

Please keep in mind that our open hours are not always the same as public bowling availability, as we have leagues and other programs that run throughout the week.

If you’re planning to come bowl, especially during the week, feel free to call or message ahead to check lane availability.

Looking for a fun after-school activity your child will love?

Join us here at the alley on Tuesday, September 22 at 3:30 PM for an afternoon filled with creativity, laughter and bowling! Kids will receive step-by-step instruction as they paint an adorable jungle sloth on canvas, followed by a game of neon bowling with friends.

No painting experience is needed, and all supplies are included!

With our regular league spots filling up, we’re thinking about adding something a little different this fall... A casual Tuesday night drop-in league!

There’s no full-season commitment and no team required! We’ll see how many bowlers show up each night and divide everyone between the available lanes.

This would be a great opportunity for anyone who didn’t get into one of our regular leagues, has been thinking about trying league bowling, or just wants a fun night out every couple of weeks without committing to an entire season.

We’ll start out with regular bowling, but as we go we’d love to mix in some fun formats like No-Tap, 3-6-9, Bingo Bowl and whatever else we can come up with! 🎳

The goal is simple; casual, social and FUN.

Blue Heron Bowl is looking for 1–2 part-time staff members to join us for the upcoming bowling season!

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, comfortable working with the public, and able to work independently.

Applicants must be 18 years or older and available for:
• Friday evenings
• Sunday afternoons
• Occasional Saturdays

No bowling experience is necessary! We can teach you everything you need to know! 🎳

Monday Night League

Wednesday Ladies Casual League
📅 Starts September 16th
🕐 1:00 PM
This is a casual drop-in league, so there’s no full-season commitment — just come out and bowl when you can!

Friday Seniors League
📅 Starts September 18th
🕙 10:00 AM & 12:30 PM
We still have room for a couple of individual bowlers and one pair.
No full teams needed at this time.

🎳 YOUTH BOWLING REGISTRATION IS OPEN! 🎳

Our 2026–2027 Youth Bowling League kicks off Wednesday, September 16th and Thursday, September 17th!

Youth bowling is open to ages 5–18, and beginners are always welcome!

🕞 Practice: 3:30–4:00 PM
🎳 Bowling starts: 4:00 PM
📅 Wednesdays & Thursdays
Bowlers play a different number of games depending on their age.

Registration is $30 per bowler, which helps cover their youth bowling T-shirt, prizes and year-end party extras. Regular weekly bowling fees still apply.

Whether they’re brand new to bowling or already love being on the lanes, youth league is a great way to have fun, meet new friends and build their bowling skills throughout the season!

Holidays are officially coming to an end, and we’re ready to get back to bowling! 💙

Starting tomorrow Thursday, August 13, Blue Heron Bowl will be back to appointment-only bowling for the remainder of August.

Just a heads up that Blue Heron Bowl will be closed from July 31 through August 12 while we take a little summer break. We appreciate everyone's support this summer and look forward to seeing you when we return!

Once we're back, it'll be time to start gearing up for another exciting bowling season! 🎉

🎳 After we return, we'll be reaching out to last year's league bowlers and teams to confirm who will be returning this season. Once we've heard back, league registration will officially open for any remaining spots.

It's shaping up to be a quieter week around the bowling alley, which means we have lots of availability on Tuesday and Wednesday for bookings! If you've been thinking about coming out for a game or two, now's the perfect time.

Just a heads up for Thursday. We're open 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, but please message us to book your lane, as we'll have two senior groups in during the morning and Summer Program groups in the afternoon. Booking ahead helps us make sure we have a lane ready for you!

☀️ After Thursday, we'll be heading out of town and will be closed until August 12.
