‼️What a summer of beach volleyball🏐👏

Thank you to those who lent a hand with set up and take down!! Greatly appreciate all of you - players, family and friends! You helped make this a reality.

Special thank you to Braucht Resources, Morrow Bros Trucking, Dancor Farms and Murray Greilach and Family! These individuals/businesses donated 💯 of their time and equipment to create these beach courts!!! This would not have happened without your generosity!!! We thank you 🫶

🙌🏻Summer recap🙌🏻

🏐143 players (66 teams- max we could host with courts we had - I had to turn away teams as we couldn’t support that many)competed in the Canada Day and Barrhead Fair weekend tournaments players came from St. Albert, Westlock, Whitecourt, Spruce Grove, Onoway, Dapp and Barrhead!
🏐3 clinics were hosted
🏐every night courts were used, youth and adult volleyball - games or practices

Hope everyone enjoyed the courts - practices, clinics, games and tournaments this summer ☀️ and good luck to you at school volleyball and indoor club this season!!

Monday, August 31st starting at 3 pm and until done. Skid steers will be there about 1 pm and we will need to assist with pulling the sand from the boards to the centre for them to pick up. Then sweep out the rink.

Please bring your own broom, shovel and/or leaf blower.

Please confirm with me that you are able to attend and what time you can assist.

Unfortunately it is coming to an end, which means the beach courts need to get cleaned up.

I’m looking for volunteers for early next week:

- 2 skid steers and operators
- helping hands to sweep/push/clean the sand from the sides for the skid steers

Please reach out to me and I’ll start a group chat to pick a date.

I am hoping/expecting with so many participants utilizing the courts this summer, we have plenty of help to get this job done.
