Our hearts are full.
Another North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo has come to a close, and we are once again reminded just how special this community really is.
For 77 years, generations of families have walked through these gates. They’ve entered their best baking, vegetables, livestock and handmade creations. They’ve filled the grandstands, volunteered their time, caught up with old friends and made memories with their families.
This fair is so much more than one weekend. It is tradition. It is agriculture. It is community. It is generations of people coming together to keep something special alive.
To every volunteer who gave their time, every sponsor who supported us, every exhibitor and competitor who participated, every vendor and entertainer who joined us, and every person who walked through our gates, thank you.
There are countless hours of work behind a weekend like this, but seeing the grounds full of people, hearing the grandstands cheering and watching another generation experience the fair makes every one of those hours worth it.
Thank you for believing in this fair, supporting it and continuing to make it part of your Labour Day weekend.
