Wasn’t planning on going out but woke up at 5am with nothing to do so….Why not
Started the morning with a bunch of pike , bass and a few real quality walleye
Average was 24-25”
This big girl was just shy of 29”!!
Took a mid day break for a swim and some lunch
(and a nap)
Then hit the riggers
Went 4 for 7 on some big kings then called it

Finished up with our second double header of the trip on 2 big salmon that unfortunately came unbuttoned

What a strange summer this has been
Just had another major mayfly hatch
Haven’t seen a June bug yet and the salmon are putting on colour already??!!

First day back after a 10 day trip stateside and it was great to be on the water again!!
Started the morning looking for hungry walleye and quickly picked up the fish we needed
After that I got to spend the rest of the day with my sweet baby girl exploring ,swimming and a nice little boat cruise
Set up on the salmon for the evening and within a couple hours went 3/4!!
Called it a night after a doubleheader of absolute mayhem and made it home before sundown

For a turn key boat, there sure has been a lot of adjustments needed to be made
First few trips on the water with the new rig I found myself spending most of my time figuring out and customizing all this new technology.
I wanted to ensure I was comfortable and safe with the new vessel before entertaining guests
Frst few trips with the kids were a great success, considering my focus was not on the rods,
We are dialled in now and more than ready for the hot summer bite.
