Northern Moose U15 Major

Outstanding showing by the U15 AAA Major Northern Moose as SEVEN of our players were selected to attend the Hockey New Brunswick High Performance Summer Development Camp. Congratulations to Felix Hache, Garland Manderville, Mathis LeBlanc, Loic Landry, Hudson Sisk, Josh Stewart (U15) and Gavin Trask.

As the dust settles on an outstanding season for the U15 Major Moose, who dropped a 5-4 overtime decision on Saturday evening to the eventual provincial champion Moncton Hawks, we would like to acknowledge a couple of individual award winners from the Moose.

Felix Hache was selected a first-team all-star for the NB U15 AAA Major league. Felix had an unbelievable season for the Moose recording an impressive 37 goals and 25 assists while turning heads all season with his gifted hockey talents.

Garland Manderville was selected to the tournament all-star team at the U15 AAA Major provincial championship tournament in Moncton this past weekend. Garland had an outstanding weekend recording 5 goals and 5 assists throughout the tournament, while wreaking havoc with his physical play all weekend.

Congratulations to Felix, Garland and the rest of the U15 AAA Major Moose on a great season!

The Moose dropped a heart breaking 5-4 overtime decision to the Moncton Hawks in their provincial semi-final matchup in Moncton. The Northern crew were the talk of the tournament for their outstanding effort all weekend. The North shore hockey community can be extremely proud of this group of players and coaches for the performance they put on this weekend in Moncton. Hold your heads high Moose, great season!!

The Moose are headed to the semi-finals at the U15 AAA Major provincial championship. The Northern crew continue to turn heads at the tournament, downing the KV Kings by a score of 5-2 in their final preliminary game.

The Moose finish 3rd place after preliminary play and now will take on the 2nd place Moncton Hawks at 5:15 pm on Arena B at the Superior Propane 4-Plex. The other semi-final matchup will see the Dieppe Flyers taking on the Fredericton Blues.

Sending out thanks to the EDZA North board for all of their support throughout the season. The players and coaches enjoyed a great night together (No cell phones allowed😁) fueling up at the Sports Rock Moncton and Dieppe for tomorrow morning’s final preliminary matchup with the KV Kings.

The Moose dropped a 5-2 decision to the top-seeded Moncton Hawks on Friday morning at the U15 AAA Major provincial championship in Moncton. The boys now sit at 2 wins and a loss, with their final preliminary game scheduled for Saturday morning at 9:15 AM versus the KV Kings.

Still lots to be figured out, but the Moose are hoping to land one of those four playoff spots available for the Saturday evening semi-final matchups.

The Moose finished day 1 at the provincial championship with a thrilling 7-5 come from behind win over the Fredericton Blues. The boys scored 4 unanswered goals in the third period to erase a 5-3 Fredericton lead, 3 of them coming within the final 1:20 of the third period.

The win puts the Moose at 2-0 headed into their final two games of preliminary play scheduled for Friday and Saturday. Next up for the northern crew will be the first place Moncton Hawks on Friday at 11:00 AM.

PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND!!

The Moose will head into the U15 AAA Major provincial championship as the #5 seed in the 7-team circuit. Action will get underway on Thursday, April 4 with the champion being decided on Sunday afternoon, April 7. All games will be played at the Superior Propane Centre 4-Plex in Moncton.
