The SCOTT-SRAM MTB Racing Team (former SWISSPOWER) has a long, successful history in mountain bike racing.
It all started in 2002, when Thomas Frischknecht became the face of SCOTT’s racing program to start the SWISSPOWER team together with former national coach Andi Seeli. Andri Frischknecht finished in fifth place, while Filippo Colombo crossed the line in P18 after some bad luck in the opening laps.

A flat tire and some back issues made for a challenging race for BJORN RILEY. Still, top 20 in the world ain’t bad.
Not Emilly Johnston best start, but she managed to turn it into her best race of the season. Keeping calm, following her race plan and barking (?) at other competitors (any comments Rebecca Henderson ?) seemed to be her secret.
8th place for Filippo Colombo, a great result and great to have him feeling strong again after a recent injury disrupted his season.
Fabio Püntener had a smart race with a faaassst final lap that put him into 9th. We are slightly disappointed not to see a Scott-SRAM sprint finish with Filippo Colombo , but there is always next race 😉
