SCOTT-SRAM MTB Racing The SCOTT-SRAM MTB Racing Team (former SWISSPOWER) has a long, successful history in mountain bike racing.

It all started in 2002, when Thomas Frischknecht became the face of SCOTT’s racing program to start the SWISSPOWER team together with former national coach Andi Seeli. The team’s philosophy is built around developing young, talented riders from Switzerland such as Florian Vogel, and from 2003 – present, Nino Schurter. By bringing these riders into a professional structure and providing them with both opportunity and support, the SCOTT-SRAM MTB Racing Team is the definition of a success story – one which continues today, having created National-, World Cup-, World- and Olympic Champions over the years. While Olympic and World Champion Nino Schurter takes the role of a leader, Team Manager Thomas Frischknecht runs the most successful Cross-Country team on the World Cup circuit with a lot of experience. Completing the 2025 roster, the 2024 Swiss champion Filippo Colombo will compete alongside new team members such as the 2024 US National Champion Bjorn Riley and Emilly Johnston, with Andri Frischknecht (member of the team since over 10 years), rounding out the most successful team in XC MTB racing.

Good news first!
Alexis Rae Skarda is sitting in second GC and will wear the Gravel Burn climbers jersey tomorrow.
Filippo Colombo finished top ten and Andri Frischknecht had a solid start at stage one.
Unfortunately Felix Stehli suffered a broken wheel and lost a lot of time
More drama with Emilly Johnston and Jana Gigele . They were not even able to start the race suffering a stomach virus.
Will go better from now on
Stay tuned
