Do you want to head into the 2026-2027 dance season with your best technique yet? Have you ever wondered how we train our ITP dancers here at MDA?

Come join us for our 2026 Summer Intensive. The two week camp features classes by MDA’s award winning faculty along with 4 special guest instructors Donna Bender & Denise Vitali (Society of Classical Ballet Vaganova Method examiners), Tatyana Ranaivo and Sasha Powers. Classes include ballet, ground force technique, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, tap and jumps and turns.

We are pleased to once again offer eastern Canada’s most advanced and technically versatile summer experience to dancers from all studios. Dancers must currently be enrolled in an intensive training program, have at least 3 years ballet training and be 9 years of age or older.

It’s that time of year again!

As our Elite and Competitive season has come to a close, we are READY to invite your dancer to our Elite and Competitive auditions Sunday May 31st!

⭐️ P2 @ 1:00-2:00pm
⭐️P3, P4, Pre-Teen Levels @ 2:00-3:00pm
⭐️ ITP Levels 1-3 @ 3:00-4:00pm
⭐️ ITP Levels 4-5 & Teen Program @ 4:15-5:45pm
⭐️ ITP Levels 6 and up @ 4:45-7:15pm

Please note, the levels indicated below are the level/class the dancer is currently enrolled in. For those entering ITP 3 or higher in September, auditions for Intermediate and Junior Elite are combined with competitive auditions

All dancers are required to bring a headshot upon arrival, this is a small, clear picture of the dancer from the waist up and does not need to be on photo paper. Dancers can come dressed in regular dance class attire and bring their ballet shoes, jazz shoes and half shoes (half shoes are optional for the audition).

We are excited to present our 2025 ITP Winter Intensive - December 29 & 30th!

Classes will be instructed by professional dancers and choreographers Katrina Ouellette and Grace Flemming. Styles include ballet, contemporary and hip hop.

Students from all studios are welcome, but must be age 8 or older and registered in an intensive training ballet program at their home studio.

A bit about the instructor’s:

Katrina Ouellette is from Halifax, Nova Scotia. After training at MDA since age 3, Katrina was accepted to the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School in grade 9. After graduation, she was invited to take part in their two year aspirant program and is currently training and dancing at the professional level in Europe.

Grace Flemming also started dancing at MDA at a very young age and was a driving force behind helping her sister open her own dance school, studio 26. Grace is now a director and instructor at S26 and has choreographed numerous award winning hip hop routines. We are thrilled to have her at MDA for our winter intensive!
