Who’s Ready for Summer ID Camp!?

It all starts on Tuesday, August 18th with some repeat Fitness Testing with our Strength & Conditioning Coach Scott Gouthro at 212 High Performance Training! Fitness testing starts at 7:15pm-> all athletes are asked to be there no later than 7pm!

Our Ice times then kick off on Friday, August 21st at Membertou Sport and Wellness Centre starting at 7pm!

We will have a few exhibition games between the U18 Cape Breton West Islanders Hockey Club and one with the Weeks U18 Major !

There will be some medical & concussion screenings near the end of the camp as well - dates and times TBD!

The Rush Program is extremely excited to welcome Scott Gouthro as our new full-time Strength & Conditioning Coach.

Scott currently serves as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Cape Breton Eagles and brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and professionalism to our organization. His expertise will help ensure our athletes receive the highest level of off-ice development, allowing them to build strength, improve performance, and reduce injury risk throughout the season.

Beginning this season, our players will train 2–3 times per week at 212 High Performance Training under Scott’s guidance as we continue to provide the best possible development environment for our athletes.

Who would like to apart of our amazing organization and help develop some great athletes in our community!

This position is full-time coaching/ Seasonal during the U18 Season and starts this August (Mid to End)
