2026 Ontario provinvial championship in the books. 5 boxers left home and 4 come home with medals. 2 gold and 2 silver. And 4 new members of team Ontario.

4 will be headed to Nationals. Now the hard training begins.

Proud of the whole team. Thank you to everyone who supports in our journey!! Much love and respect!!

Jacob with a clinic victory in the semis. He stayed calm and composed, kept his range and timed his attacks with precision. Further injuring his thumb in the process. Another bout is questionable.

Jacob Vance-Simpson and Abel Thorn in the gold medal match tomorrow, to round out the tournament.

Jaydenlivesey was first to step in the ring at provincials. With no opponent in his bracket he takes provincial gold medal and secures his spot on team ontario going to nationals in March.

We set up a make-up bout against another kid alone in his division to gain some open class experience. We knew it would be a tough fight against a good boxer with more than twice his experinece in boxing and the ring. Jay took some time finding his groove and timing. Ended up losing a majority decision, in what turned out to be a solid performance and entertaining bout.

Now he knows what open class pace feels like, and the future looks bright for him.

Carter Seymour is next up tomorrow in session 1.
