Thank you Belleville Dragon Boat Club. Yesterday’s festival was a blast and ran like a well oiled machine. We had the best day!!

one thing I hate about paddle ergs is that you're constantly pushing the paddle past you as you sit in one spot. it sends the wrong message. in the real on-the-water world, since the boat/canoe/board is moving, you're actually planting the blade in the water and pulling you and your craft past the blade.....while the blade sort of pivots at the water entry point. if you keep this in mind while paddling, it can help you to stop using your arms so much to try and push the paddle past you. #dragonboat #outriggercanoe #paddling #canoahavaiana #standuppaddleboard
