BNS Funding Opportunity - 2018
Are you a non-profit, community group or NGO with a project that focusses on natural history including monitoring, education or scientific study in the Annapolis Valley? The Blomidon Naturalists Society (BNS) is accepting applications for funding up to $1000. Applications for province-wide projects, or projects outside the Annapolis Valley will also be considered. 2017-18 Hike NS Courses & Workshops Released
Hike NS’s schedule of courses and workshops across Nova Scotia is now available for 2017-18. Beginning in June through to February, they range from how to share nature with children to how to be a hike leader to navigation. The specific offerings include:Re-Connecting with Nature Workshops; Field Leader - Hiking Courses; Field Leader - Winter Module; Field Leader - Overnight Module; Navigation Maps & Compass Courses; and WILD Connect Course.
