🗳Whitefish River First Nation 2027 General Election Announcement

Whitefish River First Nation Administration is advising citizens that a Band Council Resolution has been passed to set the date for the 2027 WRFN General Election. Election Day will take place on Saturday, February 20, 2027.

WRFN has also issued a Request for Proposals for an Electoral Officer to oversee and administer the election process in accordance with the nation's Election Code. Interested and qualified individuals or firms are invited to submit a bid no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026.

Are you an adult aged 21 or over interested in attaining your high school diploma?

Espanola High School is now offering free night school classes to help adult learners aged 21+ earn their secondary diploma while gaining literacy and numeracy skills.

Fall classes have started, but intake is continuous. Sign up to get started today!

Classes run from 6 – 8PM and students can choose to attend Mondays in Espanola or Wednesdays in Sagamok.

In-person and blended learning options are available.
