Thank you Diamond Valley for coming out to celebrate 100 years of curling in Diamond Valley with us at the parade and festival! A great big thank you to all of our club volunteers and Curling Alberta for supporting our club at this event, and a special thank you to Tyler Tardi, Dezaray Hawes, Mike Libbus and Jacob Libbus for taking the time to come and celebrate with us! Rumors are abound in the Diamond Valley and Foothills area! Diamond Valley Days are fast approaching along with much nicer weather 😅 Oilfields Curling Club will be attending the Diamond Valley parade promoting next years exciting season-long celebration of “100 Years of curling in Diamond Valley”…… keep your eyes open for a very special guest who maybe joining the Oilfields Curling Club to March in the Parade!
Hints about who this very special guest might be:
* 2026 Tim Hortons Brier silver medalist
* Only player in Canadian curling history to skip 3 consecutive Canadian Junior Champions
* Back to back World Junior Champion
* Freshly named skip of a newly assembled world elite level curling team baring his name for the 26/27 season
*Last and far from least ……. 2026 Olympic Gold Medalist
Rumour has it he may be packing a gold medal! Come out and join the fun, watch the parade and cheer on Oilfields Curling Club! Bring the kids out to catch some candy, and maybe catch a glimpse of some Olympic Gold! Parade starts at 10am Saturday June 6/2026! See you there Diamond Valley!!

Oilfields Curling Club 2026 Ladies Bonspiel - 22 Teams came to play and kick off the New Year in the most fun way! Thank you to all of the teams that came to play! Congratulations to all of our winners and runners - up! Thank you to all of our sponsors and for the yummy breakfast treats, for the delicious dinner and meat raffle donation, .food.mart for the generous meat raffle donation and , , , and for the wonderful raffle draw donations. As well a big thank to our ice makers, bar tender and many volunteers. Lia Mason and her team of volunteers did a great job organizing this event! We look forward to seeing you all next year! 🥌🥌

Cheers to a successful Little Brown Jug Bonspiel🥌 Congratulations to our winning teams! A big thank you to all of our teams who joined us for a weekend of fun and competition! Thank you to all of our sponsors, for our wonderful breakfast treats and for providing our delicious dinner! We had a successful silent auction table last weekend, OCC is very thankful for all items donated! , Longview Steak House. Our ice was spot on this weekend thanks to our talented ice makers, Peter Keenan and Don Smith, our drinks were fresh and cold Marci 💕 and a big Thank You to all of our generous volunteers who helped make The Little Brown Jug possible, you rock 🥌

Last season Oilfields Curling Club was proud to celebrate an 8 - ender within our club! Recently the Wiens team received their 8 - ender certificates and pins!
