We’ve just moved some sweet new shoes and apparel into the Clearance Room!

The Clearance Room will be closed September 14 – October 5 for our fall changeover and inventory. If you’ve had your eye on something, come in and try it on before we close things up for the season. The last day to visit the Clearance Room will be Sunday, September 13.

The rest of the store will remain open regular hours throughout the changeover.

Adam ran the Stoked Ultra Half Stoke this past weekend – a three day stage race covering 40.6 km and 2,600 m of elevation gain.

The energy around the resort was high all weekend, with the whole village getting behind the race. Day two was a good one, beginning with a gondola ride to the start line, then a steady climb up and a run back down — one of Adam’s favourite ways to race. He said the descent was an absolute blast!

The final day was a bit more of a sufferfest. Adam passed the second-place runner just under 5 km in, but felt a blow-up coming on. A few minutes later, she caught him and took off, but Adam managed to hold on for the win. The two had a good laugh about it at the finish.

Add in lots of familiar faces, great support on course, and plenty of food and beer at the finish, and it was a pretty fantastic weekend (despite Adam still being a little mad that Jason beat him by 90 seconds on the first day 😉).

The Kindred crew will be set up at the start/finish line with hot drinks, PB&J energy balls, and their Dilly Bit snack mix to keep you fueled throughout race morning.
