We also wanted to share some BLAST news from deck today 🎉 S and T qualified for the Ontario Swimming Championships (OSC) both in their 50 fly events today! Plus T also qualified for an OSC time in his 50 back yesterday (double qualified!)
Congratulations to you both! We can't wait to hear all about it.

The 2026 Western Region Long Course Championship weekend has come to a close. This afternoon, our junior swimmers demonstrated outstanding commitment, achieving additional personal bests, lots of smiles, and even more memories. Although a group photo of all four junior swimmers was not possible today, we offer our congratulations to each of them. Go BLAST!

The BLAST seniors came away with more PBs and some great swims this morning but also that coveted meet sweatshirt. Congratulations on an amazing weekend to our seniors. We are incredibly proud of you !

The Blenheim Blast Swim Team wrapped up its final "Fins Up" swim meet on Sunday. Congratulations to all our swimmers who achieved new personal bests, regional, and provincial times at the meet. We are so proud of each and every one of you. What a milestone!

This final meet also marked the last time our swimmers would be on deck together as a team for the 2025/2026 season. Competitive swimming is truly so much more than what shows up on the board. It's the laughs, the friendships, and the new memories made in a sport each one of our swimmers has an incredible passion for. The season might be coming to an end, but the bonds built on deck this year are here to stay!

As the swim season sadly comes to an end, we would like to take a moment to acknowledge our senior swimmer, Malachi, on his final swim practice. On Thursday, the team had the opportunity to swim in their home pool with their teammate during his last ever swim practice as a BLAST. They raced, they laughed, they celebrated. Thank you Malachi for the memories and for being an exceptional teammate and friend. Always remember once a BLAST, always a BLAST.
