Fourteen years ago, I took the leap and created Postma Fitness with a simple goal: to create an unmatched facility where everyone felt welcome, supported, and encouraged to become the best version of themselves.

What started as a dream became so much more than a gym. It became a community. Together we’ve celebrated milestones, overcome challenges, shared laughs, and built friendships that extend far beyond these walls. Watching so many of you grow stronger—physically and mentally—has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.

Over the past few years, I’ve also had to listen more closely to my own health. After living with the effects of multiple concussions, I’ve realized it’s time to make a change and focus on the next chapter. This isn’t a decision that came easily, but it’s one that I know is right.

I’m incredibly excited that Brett Drewery will be leading Postma Fitness Centre into its next chapter. No one knows this community better, and PFC is in great hands. I have every confidence that Postma Fitness will continue to be the leader in fitness in Blenheim and community for many years to come.

To every member, every coach, every supporter, and everyone who walked through these doors over the past 14 years—thank you. You trusted me, challenged me, supported me, and helped build something that I’ll always be proud of.

This isn’t goodbye. I’ll still be around, cheering you on from a different role. I’m excited for the future of PFC.
