We had our last tournament of the season sponsored by Bigley’s Shoes & Clothing. The weather started out grey and drizzly, turning to rain and then sunshine. We had a full green of ladies vying for the trophy. There was much fun and laughter through the day. We enjoyed a good lunch cooked by Shirl and her team and served by the men. Thank you to Julia from Bigley’s for coming out to congratulate our winners including the winner of the Bigley’s gift card.

Despite the threatening weather forecast we were able to have dry and sunny weather for our last of the season in-house tournament. The rain held off to the end of the second and last game.
The tournament was sponsored by Jermyn Lumber of Bobcaygeon

Another successful District 14 Open Triples with a Novice sponsored by Hendren Funeral Home and Bobcayeon Hearing Service. Both in Bobcaygeon.
14 teams competed for the two trophies on a mixed weather day. It only rained mid-afternoon for about 10 minutes.
1st winner - Team Vanderhout - Kingston [3W; 40+7F; 21A]
2nd winner - Team Moynes - Coburg [3W; 32F; 27A]
3rd winner - Team Warren - Lindsay [2W; 45+10F; 22A]
4th winner - Team Hunter - Bobcaygeon [2W; 41+1F; 18A]
5th winner - Team Booth - Pickering - Last Game High [23F; 47+1A]

BLBC hosted the District 14 Open Triples with a novice on July 22, 2026. This tournament is sponsored by our local restaurant The Original Just For the Halibut. You should eat there whenever you are in Bobcaygeon.
The greens were full and the competition was great.

BLBC had members from Victoria Place over for a friendly game July 14, 26. After the game we all sat down for a great pot luck. Thanks to all who brought great food and helped in the kitchen.
We all wished our President a Happy Birthday.
