This class focuses on mastering handstands while developing the balance, control, strength, and body shapes athletes need to progress into walkovers and more powerful tumbling.

Athletes will work through advanced drills and progressions designed to improve:

📣❤️ IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO JOIN NOVICE CHEER! ❤️📣

Looking for the perfect way to get started in All Star Cheer? Our Novice program is a great introduction to competitive cheer — and no tryout is required! ✨

Novice is a semi-competitive program running September through April, with teams practicing once a week for 1 hour!

Athletes will learn a 1.5-minute competition routine featuring:

⭐ Stunting
🤸 Tumbling
💃 Dance
📣 Jumps

Teams perform at 2 local events within Alberta throughout the season, with occasional extra practices for routine upgrades and continued learning.

❤️ Practices are mandatory
🖤 Tumbling training is highly recommended
✨ No tryout required
