Clarington Squash Club

Big thanks to Sam Cornett for getting the Clarington Squash Club into squash shape for the upcoming season. Sam is one of the top players in Canada and works for Squash Canada as the Manager of Athlete Development. She led our club through a boot camp in the morning and then showed us how squash is really played in the afternoon. Thanks for joining us, and if you missed it, make sure to get your spot on the next event!

Ladies Squash drop in Group Play on Sunday mornings. It's Free!! A time dedicated just for women and girls to provide support, training and a friendly atmosphere.

Junior Introductory class Sunday mornings - for kids under 18 - It's Free!! - introducing the sport of squash, basic movements, develop motor skills, increased hand-eye coordination and the basic shots - drop, drive, boast and volley. Viewing area for parents above courts.

2021-22 Oxford Properties Canadian Open Presented by AirSprint Private Aviation

Get set for a GREAT Friday of squash action as we conclude a very successful Oxford Properties Canadian Open presented by Airsprint Private Aviation, hosted by the Bow Valley Athletic Club in Calgary.

The Canadian flag will be proudly flown in both the Men’s and Women’s finals. David Baillargeon of Levis, QC made sure of that in a thrilling upset victory over the #1 seed Henry Leung of Hong Kong and now meets the in-form #4 seed Nick Wall of England.

On the women’s side, #3 seed and hometown hero Danielle Letourneau played her heart out in front of a capacity crowd but succumbed to WR #10 and rising PSA star Olivia Fiechter of the USA. However, Canada will be represented by WR #17 and #2 seed Hollie Naughton who has yet to drop a game in the tournament and looked very comfortable on the all glass Power court.
