It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Shayla Irene MacKenzie Sunday, July 16,2023 at the age of 27.

A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, girlfriend and friend. She leaves behind her Mom, Beth MacKenzie (predeceased by her Dad-Don MacKenzie) brothers Justin MacKenzie,Jake MacKenzie (Michelle Rahanne) & her loyal fur baby, Neo
She will be sadly missed by Her many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and boyfriend Evan Mulligan along with many friends.

Like a diamond, she had many facets. Her quick wit and quirky humor was experienced by all.

Not only was she a gorgeous young lady; Shayla was also intelligent, kind and authentic which shone through her and enhanced her beauty even more.

She was loved and known for her perseverance, integrity, and fierce loyalty.
Her inner strength empowered her through some sad and troubled times. Her love was all encompassing. She was "hanging in" and she didn't choose to leave us. Now our twinkling star in the Heavens, we will miss you so "our smiling girl".
