Matthew Taskinen leads the TCR class in race wins this year with 3 victories, including back-to-back P1 finishes at to start the season. He has also earned pole position for 5 out of the 7 qualifying sessions. Despite his pace, Matthew finds himself in 4th place heading into the finale mainly due to a costly DNF at . Returning to his home track at CTMP, can the young Toronto driver repeat his success from rounds 1 & 2 and finish the season in the top 3?

Much like CTCC TCR frontrunner Gary Kwok, Travis Hill has also shown incredible consistency in 2019, finishing in the top five in every single race including three podium finishes. Even though Travis has not won a race this year, his strategy has been paying dividends because he is only trailing by 20 points and is leading the field of Audi RS3 LMS TCRs. With the class championship within his grasp, will Travis’ patience pay off at the CTMP finale next weekend?

Less than a week to our final race weekend!

The creation of the TCR touring car class for the 2019 CTCC presented by Pirelli has been a tremendous success. After 8 competitive rounds, the championship is still undecided as we head into our finale. With less than 100 points separating them, let’s take a look at the top 4 drivers in the standings after GP3R.

After putting in a remarkably consistent 2019 season, Gary Kwok is sitting on top of the TCR class as we head into the last two rounds of the year. He has placed in the top four in every single race so far, including a win at and another at Shannoville.

With a field of Audi RS3 LMS TCRs hot on his heels, Gary decided to bring out his brand new FK8 generation Honda Civic Type R TCR at . Will he be able to fend off the ferocious attack from the Audi teams and hang on to his narrow points lead?
