The community will be showing its’ support for this Friday night April 13th 7pm at the Memorial Arena. Wear your favorite team jersey and bring a stick to add to a memorial wall.
Many of our players are now home in their respective communities. Those in the Muskoka area are encouraged to attend, if you're able, either in your favorite jersey or Pioneers track suit. Or just come as you are........ hockey is family.

Mary Lyndon and Jacob Evans unknowingly surprised each other at a restaurant in Halifax on Friday. Jacob was working a shift at the restaurant and Mary was vacationing in Nova Scotia when she walked in for a meal. Not sure who was more surprised! Mary is the Mom of Pioneer Nathan Lyndon and was also our scorekeeper this past season. Goalie Jacob billeted with Brenda Paterson in Bracebridge this past season. Hockey bonds are strong and last forever.

End of Season Message
The Bracebridge Pioneers organization would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You! to everyone who made our first season possible.
To our players:
Thank you for being a Pioneer! You learned down the stretch what is possible when teamwork, a sense of belonging and a belief in each other combine to create something much bigger than the individual parts. Wrap all of that in hard work and anything is possible!
To our graduating players: It's been a blast! Thank you for your leadership both on and off the ice. We wish you all the best in the future.
To our returning players; the future is bright and we are excited for the 2018-19 season!
To our billets:
Thank you for opening your home to our players, for taking such good care of them and for making them feel part of your family and community. The connections made are special and long lasting. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
To our staff and volunteers:
It's not easy to start up a hockey team from scratch. With your help, the Pioneers were a very competitive team that met with success on and off the ice. There are so many moving parts; ticket sales, game music, time keeping, record keeping, scheduling, team logistics, video and communications, not to mention practices, scouting, and yes, laundering smelly jerseys and all the million little things that have to get done every day to keep a team functioning. There is simply no way we could have had the success we had without your dedication to our players and our program. Thank you!
To our fans:
We hope we kept you entertained throughout the season. Thank you for sticking it out and believing in the young men that wore the Pioneers jersey this year. Your support means everything.
Thank you to our news media friends who published our game summaries and wrote stories about the team and helped promote our program. It's greatly appreciated.
We look ahead to the 2018-19 season with a sense of excitement and anticipation. We have many players eligible to return and are already busy scouting and fielding inquiries from players across Canada, in the USA and Europe. After only one season our program is generating attention and interest. The future is bright!
