is a smart, puck moving defenseman with great defensive instincts which make him tough to beat in his own zone. Calvin's vision, skill and Hockey pedigree make him a great addition to the Bears. Welcome to the Muskoka Lumber Yard Calvin.

The Muskoka Bears Jr Hockey Club are thrilled to announce the signing of Jakob Medeiros!

is a tone setter, a physical shutdown defensemen that leads both on and off the ice. Welcome back to the Muskoka Lumber Yard Jakob.

The Muskoka Bears Jr. Hockey Club and coach Geoff Carleton are proud to announce the appointment of Scott Bjaanes and Steve Olive as assistant coaches for the 2026-27 season!

Both men bring extensive playing (over 100 Jr games each) and hockey leadership to their current roles behind the bench. Scott a former minor hockey executive and coach brings a calm, approachable, experienced voice to the group. Steve, a former Muskoka Bear himself, brings years of scouting and player evaluating experience while helping many players to the next stage of their hockey journey.

We can't wait to watch how they help coach Geoff shape this chapter in Bears history. Welcome to the Muskoka Lumber Yard Gentlemen.
