As Hanna and I drive to West Virginia this week to lead a retreat, we're reflecting on something we've seen again and again:

You don’t need another book, podcast, workshop, or inspirational quote.

Over the years, we’ve come to realize something simple but important:

We all need spaces where we can fully be ourselves.

Spaces where people just understand.

Retreat has become one of those places for us.

There is something deeply nourishing about coming together — sharing meals, walking in nature, practicing yoga, and having the kinds of conversations that rarely happen in everyday life.

Some of the deepest friendships in our lives were born on retreat. Simply because we slowed down enough to truly see one another.

There’s something healing about starting the morning with meditation, sharing a hug over breakfast, sitting barefoot in the grass after class, or opening your heart in conversation with someone who truly listens.

While our online community calls are beautiful, gathering together in person carries a special kind of magic.

And perhaps now more than ever, we need spaces of real connection — moments that help us breathe a little deeper and remember what truly matters.

From Harvard to Oxford, thank you for walking this sacred path with us. 💙

For the past month, thousands of seekers gathered to explore a simple but profound question:

How do we walk the spiritual path together?

Through conversations, kirtan, wisdom, vulnerability, and shared practice, something beautiful emerged:

A deeper experience of sacred community.

The 2026 Bhakti Yoga Conference — Sacred Community: Walking the Path of Love Together — has now come to a close.

What a beautiful journey it has been.

More than 7,000 people joined the conference online to explore what it means to walk the spiritual path in community.

These photos are a few beautiful moments from our Oxford grand finale at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies.

In a world that can often feel divided and disconnected, this gathering reminded us that spiritual life was never meant to be walked alone.

We heal, grow, and awaken together.

And while the conference has ended for this year, the spirit of sacred community continues.
