6 weeks ago, “A” came to me upset with the way she looks, no energy, minimal drive, and unsure of what direction to take her nutrition.

A busy mom with 5 kids, she took the initiative to carve out time for herself, focus on her health, and improve her nutrition.

There have been bumps along the way, but clearly she still gets things done + focusing on her nutrition has made the world of a difference!

After 6 weeks of hard work and determination, she’s made leaps and bounds.

In terms of health and fitness, there are four MAIN ways people like to track their food intake.

The way a person feels comfortable tracking their food is very important to their overall success. Depending on your goals, the way you may want to track your food will change.

Someone with very specific body composition goals would typically weigh food + track their macros! This is NOT restrictive in any such way, you can still eat your favourite foods but still weigh it and fit it into your specific macros.

Someone who just wants to overall improve their health and relationship with food may find more joy in mindful/intuitive eating approach, and even portion control with their plate/hand size.

Whatever your goals may be, there is always an option that is best suited to you and your specific goals!
