Thank you for inviting us to your 5K and 10K Speed Skating Challenge! We had compete in both distances and they had a great time!

Great way to end the season, pushing your limits with speed skaters from other clubs!

Tonight we hosted a recognition event, to thank the for a $12,500 Resilient Communities grant. We were fortunate that MPP Minister Williams was able to be present and speak at the event!

The grant helped the club expand our Spotlight program - extending the Learn to Speed Skate program to 32 girls that identified as low income, BIPOC or 2SLGBTQIA+.

We appreciate the opportunity this grant gave us and enjoy seeing many of these girls still skating with us.

While the rest are away at Provincials - some still came out to the early morning speed skating sessions at Gage Park! Thank you Coach Cynthia and Coach Travis for keeping it going!

Next weekend is the LAST sessions at Gage Park. With the upcoming warm weather expected to hit Friday - updates will be posted to the WhatsApp group if anything changes!
