Here we go. The tournament season starts April 29. One day tournament for all mens and ladies divisions.

Are you or anyone you know interested in becoming an ice hockey referee?

If so, please share this information about the upcoming FREE Introductory Open Your Eyes Ref© Referee’s Clinic!

Eligibility criteria is as follows:
1. Minimum 18 yrs of age
2. Good working knowledge of the ice hockey rules
3. Ice hockey playing experience preferred
4. Outstanding skating ability
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Ability to de-escalate situation in a calm and professional manner
7. Physical fitness is a definite asset
8. Able to access rinks around Oakville
9. Previous refereeing experience is an added value
10. Available to attend mandatory refereeing clinic on Thursday, Dec 15, 7-10pm at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex- 3070 Neyagawa Blvd

All potential new Referees will receive a free clinic from the Open Your Eyes Ref© team that includes:
- 1 hour in classroom theoretical session: Thursday December 15th from 7pm – 8pm at Sixteen Mile SC, Community, Room 1.
- 1 hour (min) on-ice practical session: Thursday, December 15th 8pm-10pm at Sixteen Mile SC, Rink 4
