10 things that completely changed me… and honestly, I’m still growing through every single one of them.

Learning to protect my peace, choosing discipline over excuses, letting go of draining relationships, trusting God’s timing, and celebrating small wins changed the way I see life.

Growth doesn’t always happen loudly. Sometimes it’s in the quiet decisions you make daily that slowly transform you into a stronger, healthier, wiser version of yourself. ❤️

This has been my current daily situation since last year… waking up between 2–3 AM for absolutely no reason 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

One neuroscience hack that’s been helping me? DON’T look at the clock. Looking at the time can create stress and wake your brain up even more.

Instead, I pick a random word and create new words from each letter to calm my nervous system and redirect my thoughts.

Example:
SLEEP
S – Strength
L – Love
E – Energy
E – Endurance
P – Peace

It sounds simple, but it helps shift the brain from anxiety to focus and calm.

Ladies… this season is REAL. Give yourself grace, take care of your body, and know you’re not alone.

It’s funny how discipline can carry you all day, and then suddenly at night your brain starts negotiating like it forgot the mission 😅 Truth is—it’s not hunger, it’s habit, boredom, or just your mind looking for a reward. You’ve already fueled your body well… now it’s about leading your mind, not following it.

3 ways to curb the brain chatter:
1. Pause and check in
Ask yourself: “Am I actually hungry or just feeling snacky?” Give it 10 minutes. Most cravings pass when you don’t react immediately.
2. Shift the routine
Your brain is used to a pattern. Break it—go for a short walk, stretch, shower, or sip herbal tea. Movement or a new activity resets the urge.
3. Set a boundary with intention
Tell yourself: “The kitchen is closed.” Not from restriction, but from discipline. You’ve already nourished your body—now you’re protecting your progress.

You don’t need more food… you just need to stay aligned.
