Another RO season in the books, meaning another round of season award winners 👏

We continue to celebrate the sport and the community we have here in Ontario. These awards show the mutual respect we have for one other as we grow this game in our province together! Thank you all for voting and congratulations to all nominees too 🙌

Female Breakout Player - Anjali Patel, she won an open division title at the beginning of the season and hasn’t looked back continuing to break through as a top female player in RO!

Male Breakout Player - Jordan Martin, breakthrough year for this guy gaining Premier at Waterloo CRS event then finishing out the season with a win at the York CRS event, he’s just getting started!

Sportswomen - Emma Wosik, she won Rookie of the year last season and is now growing the women’s game at every tournament, league or pickup that she is at… RO wouldn’t be the same without her!

Sportsman - Ezra Campanelli, this guy has been the driving force behind each CRS event in Ontario, making sure we get as many participants as possible along with lending a helping hand at tournaments too!

The “Content Kyle” Award - Chris Loubert has pumped out content consistently and timely, this is what our sport needs… let’s keep growing the game through content creation!

Queen of Ontario - The “Dianne Fonseca Award” goes to her SIL, Rosemay Diaz. This award goes without explanation, the MVP of the season - skill, dedication and results shown at all events across Ontario!

King of Ontario - The “Emerson Dean Award” goes to Adam Hassan, an up and coming player who is pushing the limits and taking advantage of the rule change off-year… multiple podiums this season and more to come!

Thank you all for an amazing season, Roundnet Ontario lives through the community and each of you and all nominees are the reason RO is so strong and successful 🙏

ONE LAST EVENT WE NEED ONTARIO TO GO PUSH FOR, CANADIAN NATIONALS OCTOBER 11-12!! It only happens biannually and we had BIG turnout when it was here in Toronto 2021 but we also had an amazing group travel to Whistler, BC in 2023. Let's plan our trip to Montreal 🚗

Roundnet Ontario Provincials 2025 🏆

It has been a special season with 4 .roundnetseries events in Ontario along with the Mississauga Majors being the largest event of the season in Canada! And what a way to end it off with another fantastic RO finale with 🙌

Congrats to Average Joe’s taking home their 2nd provincial championship, the first team to do it! They won it in 2023, and now being 2x champs did they solidify themselves as RO’s best ever team? 🤔

In the contender division we had strong teams battle out for a premier bid, and in a 3-set thriller finals an OG team from 2021… Moby Flick came out on top! Both players regaining their Premier status so we can’t wait to see them back at it 🤩

Thank you ALL for coming out! The RO family keeps getting bigger each year with new players getting involved. Dating back to 2018 when it all started, so many legendary moments and even more friendships being created 🫶

We are looking for NEW volunteers and Club Leaders to take on RO roles for next season! If you are interested in growing the game and passionate about this amazing sport community we have in Ontario please DM for more information! 💚
