Another great road to a successful event in Michigan. Meet up with some old connections i haven't seen in awhile. Made some new ones at the same time.
A huge thank you to SLYC — Shining Lighte Youth Charity — for inviting Capoeira Malês Brampton to share our art with youth at both their Brampton and Mississauga locations last week. 🙏🏽
We had the opportunity to introduce students to Capoeira through movement, music, rhythm, and culture during a series of short workshops — and seeing the energy, participation, and smiles made it all worthwhile.
We're always grateful for opportunities to connect with organizations doing meaningful work in our communities and empowering young people through education, mentorship, and positive experiences.
Thank you for welcoming us and allowing us to be a small part of the incredible work you're doing. We look forward to crossing paths again soon!
