Craig Geekie may have moved on from his playing days with the Wheat Kings, but he continues to give back to the hockey community in so many ways.
Craig has been a coach in the Yellowhead Region for many years and also provides scouting opportunities to young hockey players across Manitoba through Up My Hockey 68.
Outside of hockey, Craig is the Sales Manager at Enns Brothers in Shoal Lake.
Craig and his wife, Tobi, have raised three boys, two of whom have gone on to play in the NHL! 🏒
From playing in the Wheat Kings’ black and gold to giving back to the next generation of hockey players, Craig continues to make an impact both on and off the ice.

We got him! 🚨The Wheat Kings are proud to welcome Kevin Jury to our team!

Kevin Jury will be working as the team's athletic therapist, taking good care of our players and making sure they're able to perform at a high level. Kevin is no rookie to contact sports, he's coming from working at Jr B Hockey Team Delta Ice Hawks and Bayside Sharks Rugby Club, as well as Usports football, hockey and rugby with Western and Queen's Universities. Kevin has received Bob McCormack Athletic Therapy Award and Stewart Langdon Memorial Award from Queen's University so our players will be in very good hands!

The Wheat Kings team from 1972-1974 had their bi-annual reunion at Clear Lake Golf Course over the weekend, how awesome is this?

Congratulations to our incoming forward Colin Grubb and Wheat Kings Prospect Ethan Sung on getting a silver medal at the Hlinka Gretzky cup with Team USA! 🥈Over five games, Colin had four points, two goals and two assists.
