One whole year.

How is that even possible?

It feels like just yesterday we were bringing home this tiny little girl, wondering what life would look like as a family of four. And now here you are… walking, laughing, showing your big personality, and filling our life with so much joy.

You’ve brought so much light into our lives. Your sweet smile can brighten the hardest day, your sweet little personality keeps us laughing, and your determination already tells me you’re going to do incredible things and also give your brother a run for his money.

Watching you grow has been one of my greatest joys, but if I’m being honest… it’s also been one of the hardest. Every milestone is exciting, yet each one means saying goodbye to another little piece of your baby days.

I wish I could freeze time just for a little while.

Happy 1st Birthday, Niya.

Thank you for choosing me to be your mama. It is the greatest privilege and the biggest blessing of my life. 💝

I hope you always know how fiercely you are loved-not just today, but every single day.

Now excuse me while I try not to cry over how quickly one little year can change absolutely everything. 🤍🎂

A few years ago, my goal was simply to lose weight and focused so heavily on the scale.

These days, my “why” looks completely different.

It’s having the energy to chase my kids.
It’s getting on the swing instead of watching from the bench.
It’s running through the splash park instead of feeling too exhausted.
It’s taking them for long walks without aches and pains
It’s creating memories they’ll hopefully remember forever.

Taking care of myself isn’t about being perfect.

It’s about making small choices every day that help me show up as the mom I want to be.

For me, that looks like moving my body, strength training, getting outside, eating better, and yes… starting my morning with my Activate because it’s become part of my routine and I love how it helps me feel so much better.

The scale matters far less than how I feel.

And lately… I’ve been feeling more like myself again- finally. ❤️

If you’re on your own health journey too, I’d love to cheer you on.

Watching Ryan become a dad has made me fall in love with him even more.

The way he lights up when the kids run to him when he walks in the door, the patience he shows during the hard moments, and the love he pours into our family never goes unnoticed. Whether he’s playing on the floor, pushing swings at the park, or reading the same book for the hundredth time, he always shows up with his whole heart.

Torin and Niya absolutely adore him, and so do I.

He is patient, loving, hardworking, and the kind of dad who shows up every single day, even when he’s tired. Our kids are so lucky to call him Dad.

At the same time, Father’s Day always comes with a little ache in my heart.

My dad passed away in 2018, and not a day goes by that I don’t miss him. He wasn’t just an incredible father to me—he was the heart of our family. The kind of man everyone could count on, laugh with, and look up to.

I wish he could have met Torin and Niya. I know he would have absolutely spoiled them, taught them all kinds of things, and loved them fiercely and appreciated Torin’s mischievous personality.

Today I’m celebrating an amazing dad beside me, while remembering an amazing dad who helped shape me.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandpas, father figures, and especially to my dad and Ryan. ❤️

One of the most thoughtful gifts I’ve ever received. ❤️

Last Christmas, Ryan surprised Kristie and I with a trip to Toronto to see Luke Combs, floor tickets and all, Blue Jays tickets, accommodations arranged with his sister and her family, and every little detail planned out.

But what made it even more special was that he knew I wouldn’t want to leave Niya behind. So she came too. ❤️ While I enjoyed the concert, the game, and a weekend full of fun with my sister, Ryan’s sister stepped in and helped care for Niya so I could truly enjoy every moment.

It wasn’t just a trip. It was the gift of making memories.

Kristie and I laughed until we cried, stayed up too late, realized we were still fun, and realized how long it had been since we’d spent that kind of uninterrupted time together. Life gets busy with careers, kids, schedules, and responsibilities, and sometimes you forget just how much fun your sister can be.

My heart is so full looking back on the weekend. Grateful for Ryan who put so much thought into making it happen, family who helped make it possible, and a sister who reminded me that no matter how much time passes, we can pick up right where we left off.

What a weekend. ❤️

Healthy Habit Tuesday 💛
The walk itself is usually the easy part.

Getting out the door? That’s a different story. 🤣

This morning started with Torin getting into my Mojo(hmmm yum 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️), followed by Niya emptying an entire brand-new package of wipes all over the floor.
Then came packing snacks, loading the Thule, convincing him that his rubber boots were too hot and to put sandals on, gathering water, and making sure everyone was somewhat presentable to leave the house. 😅

A few years ago, I probably would’ve looked at all that and thought, “Never mind. We’ll try again tomorrow.” But it’s all the more reason to get out lol

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned from losing 100 pounds, becoming a mom, and navigating different seasons of life is this:

Consistency doesn’t have to look perfect.
Sometimes consistency looks like a great workout.
Sometimes it looks like a 7km stroller walk with a toddler who wants to get out & walk, stop and inspect everything, and become everyone’s friend on the path.

And sometimes it looks like getting out the door after complete chaos and calling that a win. ❤️

The goal isn’t perfection.
The goal is to keep showing up.

Can any other moms relate? What’s the hardest part of leaving the house with little kids? 😂👇

If I could tell my younger self one thing…

It would be this:

Losing 100 pounds wasn’t the finish line.

Years ago, I thought if I could just lose the weight, I’d have it all figured out. I thought I’d never struggle again.

But life has a funny way of giving us new challenges.

Back then, I had more time, fewer responsibilities, and a completely different season of life.

Today, I’m a mom of two little ones, navigating health and fitness with a very busy toddler and baby on the move, snack crumbs, interrupted sleep, and a body that’s different than it was in my 20s and 30s.

And honestly?

That’s okay.

Because what helped me lose 100 pounds then is still helping me today.

Not perfection.

Not motivation.

Not a magic solution.

Consistency.

The walk.
The workout.
The better choice.
The extra glass of water.
The healthy meal.
The decision to keep going, even when progress feels slower than I’d like.

If I could tell my younger self anything, it would be:

Stop focusing so much on how fast you’re getting there.

Focus on becoming the kind of person who doesn’t quit.

Because every season of life will require a different version of you.

And right now, I’m learning how to be healthy as a mom, not just healthy as a woman trying to lose weight.

One day.
One choice.
One habit at a time. ❤️

Can anyone else relate?

Have you ever found yourself in a season where what used to work no longer works the same way?

I’d love to hear what’s been your biggest challenge lately.

I honestly thought it wasn’t doing anything… until I stopped using it.

After I had Niya, I stopped drinking Activate for about 6 months.

Life got busy with a newborn, a toddler, life, and everything in between. I had convinced myself that maybe it wasn’t making much of a difference anyway.

But over those months, I kept wondering why I wasn’t feeling as good as I did postpartum with Torin.

Then it hit me…

The biggest difference? I wasn’t taking Activate.

So in March, I added it back into my daily routine.

And wow.

Since March 27, I’m down 7.5 lbs and 16 inches 🤯

✨ 9 of those inches came from my stomach area alone.

But for me, it’s about more than the number on the scale. It’s how I feel.

✔️ Less food noise and cravings
✔️ Better energy throughout the day
✔️ No afternoon crashes
✔️ Better digestion
✔️ Improved focus and mental clarity
✔️ Support for healthy metabolism and weight management

I know supplements aren’t magic. I still focus on moving my body, lifting weights, and making good choices.

But Activate was the missing piece of my routine that I didn’t realize I needed until it was gone.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, frustrated, or wondering why your body isn’t responding the way you’d like, this might be worth looking into.

And the best part? It’s made with natural ingredients and it’s currently 20% OFF until tomorrow.

Message me if you’d like more information or want to see exactly how I’ve been using it. 💛
