Have a lesson barn, riding group or a few students who could use a new goal?

You don't need enough riders to organize a full show or bring in a judge to give them that experience.

The RR&More Virtual Show Series can become something your whole group works toward.

Use the patterns in your lessons. Work on the individual skills. Let riders practice at their own level. Then, when they're ready, video their rides and submit them to be scored by an accredited judge.

With walk-only, walk/trot and more advanced options, riders at different stages can participate — they don't all have to be working at the same level.

For coaches and instructors, it's also an easy way to give your students a structured goal without having to design an entire program yourself.

Entries close August 10, and videos aren't due until August 23, so there's still time to incorporate the patterns into upcoming lessons and practice sessions.

AUGUST STAKES — TAKE ANOTHER LOOK 👀

If you've been looking at the Stakes classes and thinking they might be a little beyond where you're at — take another look.

We deliberately made the August Stakes accessible to more riders.

Ranch Trail Stakes is WALK/TROT — no lope.

And in Ranch Riding Stakes, simple changes are allowed. You do not need to have a flying change to enter.

So how do the Stakes work?

They're optional payout classes open to all divisions and levels. Everyone rides the same Stakes pattern and entries are placed according to their official judged score.

💰 Entry fee: $25 per Stakes class
💰 Cash payouts based on the number of entries
🐴 Minimum 3 entries for a Stakes class to run

To be eligible, enter a minimum of two regular classes in the August show. You can then enter Ranch Trail Stakes, Ranch Riding Stakes, or both.

The Stakes patterns are at the end of the August Pattern Book, so you have plenty of time to practice before videos are due.

The RR&More Virtual Show Series gives youth riders a chance to start from home, with their own horse, in a familiar place.

Beginner-friendly options are available, including walk-only and walk/trot levels.

No hauling. No show clothes required. Practice the pattern, record it when you're ready, and have your ride scored by an accredited judge.
