TO: K-12 Principals and Vice Principals
Please be advised that what has been reported to Brandon Police Service as an attempted abduction of a child in the vicinity of Richmond Avenue and between 22nd and 26th Street was reported to Meadows School today.

The student was walking home when a dark blue SUV stopped and asked the student if they wanted a ride. The man was wearing a grey ball cap.

At this time we ask you to remind staff and students of the importance of personal safety and being aware of your surroundings. Should any suspicious activity be observed by staff or students we ask you to notify the Brandon Police Service, the Superintendent’s Office, and parents as appropriate.
