Our 4v4 Brant Cyclone team gave it everything they had at the OVA Championships and came home with a D2T4 silver medal 🥈

So proud of this group for their determination, teamwork, and heart on the court. From big rallies to creative cheers, they made every moment count. And of course… the glitter in their hair (and the coaches’ hair!) added some extra sparkle to an already unforgettable experience.

Congratulations, team!!!

Our U15 select teams had their most successful outing to date in their third tournament. Sweeping the Tigers in one match and taking a set from the Panthers in another.

Everyone is looking forward to the final and Championship tournament in April. The select program has helped develop alot of players who will contribute to BYVC teams next year!!!

Brant Riptide competed up a division on March 7th at the 16U Girls Bugarski Cup, taking on a tough field and strong opponents.

While the results didn’t quite meet the goals we set for ourselves, the team competed hard in every match. Many of the sets were extremely close, and it was encouraging to see clear progress in several areas we’ve been working on in practice.

The focus now shifts to continuing that improvement and preparing for Provincials.

Award Winners

Brinley #27 – Net Presence Award
Brinley led the team with the best kill percentage and the most blocks. Her physical presence at the net forced opponents to adjust their attack and made a major impact throughout the day.

Audrey #8 – Top Scorer Award
Audrey led the team in total points scored through both attacks and serving runs. A strong offensive performance all tournament.

Daniela #7 – Heart & Hustle Award
Daniela brought infectious energy and positivity to every match, helping lift the team in key moments. Great to have you back, Daniela

The BYVC U15 select teams 1 and 2 played their second SWIVIL tournament in Cambridge today. Both teams are progressing well and enjoying tournament volleyball. Playing 5 matches in one day is lots of work and all the players are improving with each point they play and will be back there in two weeks to do it all again. We appreciate their efforts and all the hard work they put in.
