I spent years believing I had nothing of value to say.
I'm a published author. I've written a book called Your Business Will Never Outgrow You. It's on Amazon.
People have read it. People have told me it changed how they think about their business.
And for years before I wrote it, I was the guy who said: "Writing a book will be the last thing I ever do."
I thought: who would want to buy my book? Who would want to listen to me? In the world, I have John Maxwell, Brian Tracy, Tony Robbins, Russell Brunson — all those big hitters. Why would anyone read what I have to say?
I didn't believe in myself, so I didn't write a book.
Then I met Jim Edwards. He taught me something simple: if you're a coach, a speaker, a trainer, you need a book not because you're the smartest person in the room, but because you're one step ahead of the person you're talking to.
That single reframe broke five years of stuckness.
The book got written.
Utibe Ukim wrote the foreword.
The book shipped.
The lesson: most of what stops you isn't the absence of value. It's the absence of permission.
Permission that you have to give yourself.
The same is true about visibility at work.
You don't need someone to give you permission to be seen. You need to give yourself permission.
That's the heart of Pillar 1 of The Uncap Framework.
