Summer’s Bounty: Full Moon Women’s Gathering
As the sun sets on the magnificent August full moon, we invite you to step into a welcoming space dedicated entirely to sisterhood, abundance, and joy. This evening is a celebration of everything that has been cultivated through the summer months—a time to honor the earth’s bounty, our personal growth, nourish and move our bodies, and practice gratitude for it all.
What to Expect:
* The Tea Bar: We will begin the evening by crafting custom iced tea blends. Choose from a beautiful spread of iced teas, fresh fruits, berries, and herbs to mix a brew that reflects your own unique energy. There will be caffeine and caffeine-free options. Bring your favorite mug or glass if you’d like!
* Share Circle: Settle onto your mats for an intimate, heart-centered sharing circle. In this space, we will connect with ourselves and each other, listen intentionally, and voice our gratitude for the abundance in our lives. Sharing is optional.
* Dance Party: To close out the night, we will turn up the speakers and dance! Shake off stagnant energy and let loose under the full moon with a celebratory dance session.
Let’s enjoy the abundance of late summer together. We hope that you leave feeling more lighthearted and carefree!

An Ashram‑Style Practice in the Classical Tradition
Join us for a full, immersive Sivananda Hatha Yoga experience modeled on the traditional class taught at the Ashram. This extended 2‑hour session follows the
classical sequence in its pure form, offering time, space, and depth to settle into the essence of the practice.
We will begin with Kapalabhati and Anuloma Viloma (alternate nostril breathing), allowing the breath to purify, balance, and prepare the mind for practice. The
warm‑up will include additional rounds (12) of Surya Namaskar, inviting heat, circulation, and a steady rhythm of breath‑movement awareness.
The heart of the class will be the 12 basic Sivananda postures, practiced with longer holds to encourage concentration, relaxation, and a deeper energetic
effect. Each posture will be approached with the traditional emphasis on breath, awareness, and the cultivation of quiet strength.
We will close with a spacious final relaxation, mantra, and a short prayer, supporting the body’s integration and the mind’s return to stillness.
This class is suitable for all levels, including those new to Sivananda Yoga, and offers a beautiful opportunity to reconnect with the roots of your yoga practice in
a supportive, meditative environment.
