Congratulations to Coach Laura Sivers on a very successful Canadian Masters Championships this weekend in Laval!

She came home with 6 Canadian Championships and 1 silver medal, with 4 personal best despite the significant rain experienced on Sunday.

We wish her the best of luck when she heads to Daegu, South Korea to compete at the World Masters Athletics Championships later this month!

Congratulations to Emerson Veltkamp on starting off the Ontario Summer Games strong with a Silver Medal in the U14 High Jump with a new personal best of 1.37! Also having strong meets are Sam Leakey finishing 5th in the U16 100mH, Jacob Tripp 7th in the U14 300m and Arjen Filipsen 16th in the U16 100m! We are so proud of all of you for being selected to the team to represent our region!

These hard working and talented runners and jumpers have earned their chance to compete against the very best in Canada and are looking for your help to do so. Your empty bottles and cans will make a big difference in their journey.

On Saturday June 13th, the RCL District G and Ontario Summer Games Trials were held at TISS with events held for ages U10-Masters. Over 300 athletes competed in more than 700 individual events with outstanding results.

Brockville Legion had many athletes with top finishes, qualifying for the Legion District G and Ontario Summer Games teams!

A special acknowledgment for those who results have qualified them for the Legion Youth National in Regina Aug 7-9th!

Registration for the Royal Canadian Legion District G Championship and Ontario Summer Games Qualifier Meet is now open!

Competition will be held Saturday June 13 2026, at Thousand Islands Secondary School in Brockville.

While this meet serves as the selection meet for the District G and OSG teams (U14-U18), events are offered for ages U10-Masters.

For those U14-U18, you must reside in District G due to team selection requirements. For all other age categories, this restriction does not apply.
