Bunnies CanAm playoff weekend sees the team go 1 win with 3 losses in 4 games .. Bunnies hitting and defence just wasn’t good enough even though our pitchers threw the ball well enough for better results .. need to be better at start of games as the team gives up 2 2 3 3 runs in first inning of each game .. 2 out of 4 were solid games where we just couldn’t get some key hits.. Game 1 - Montreal Titans 4 Bunnies 2 .. Zadok Roiger takes the loss despite only giving up 4 hits , 3 earned runs with 11 K’s over 5.2 innings .. Matt Barkley finished up .. Wyatt Last , Aaron Roy and Barkley singled for the Bunnies only 3 hits while Roiger had rbi … Game 2 - Bunnies 16 Montreal Beasts 6 .. sloppy game by both teams to put it mildly .. JJ Easton gets the win going 5 innings giving up 5 hits , 4 earned runs with 2 K’s .. Lukus Doak(2rbis) , Parker Ames(rbi) and Roiger with 2 hits each .. team loses Ames for the rest of the weekend as after hitting the ball to the wall in right the big fella had visions of his first triple of the season but took a little tumble at first and injured his wrist .. singles by Last(2rbis) , Charlie Todd(rbi) , Max DeCoteau and Nolan Orazietti .. Eamon Morrison and Mark Bowlby with rbis … Game 3 Montreal Diamonds 4 Bunnies 1 .. Diamonds score 3 in the first and Bunnies couldn’t get a big hit when we had the chance with runners on .. After the first Roy settled in going 6 innings giving up 6 hits , 3 earned runs with 6 K’s .. Bunnies manage 5 singles by Roiger(rbi) , Barkley , Doak , Bowlby and DeCoteau … Game 4 Bunnies get spanked .. Watson Elite 16 Bunnies 3 .. Watson outhits us 11-4 .. Todd takes the loss .. Taylor Brayton throws 3 solid innings in relief .. DeCoteau and Morrison finish up .. Barkley(s,d,rbi) with 2 hits with singles by Roiger(rbi) and Orazietti …. Bunnies will hold team function Wednesday night to round out the 2026 summer season .. ⚾️🐰😁

Bunnies win first three games of the weekend before faltering in game four but improve overall record to 19 wins 12 losses . Saturday — Game 1 Bunnies 7 Massena Bombers 2 .. Charlie Todd goes 6 innings for the win giving up 4 hits with 7 K’s . JJ Easton with a clean 7th .. Parker Ames with 3 hits(2s,d,2rbis)..Wyatt Last(s,t,rbi) and Matt Barkley(2s,3rbis) with 2 hits each . Zadok Roiger , Nolan Orazietti and Eamon Morrison with singles ….Game 2 - Bunnies 8 Bombers 3 .. Taylor Brayton gives up 1 hit over 5.1 innings for the win with 5 K’s .. Morrison finished up in relief .. Roiger with 2 hits . Brayton doubled with singles by Ames , Orazietti(2rbis) , Barkley , Morrison and Todd …..Sunday - Game 1 Bunnies 12 Montreal Diamonds 2 .. Aaron Roy with solid outing getting the win going 5 innings giving up 6 hits with 7 K’s .. Roiger(2s,2rbis) , Orazietti(s,d,2rbis) , and Ames(s,d,rbi) with 2 hits apiece .. Todd and Barkley both doubled with 2 rbis . Last with rbi single .. Game 2 Diamonds 13 Bunnies 0 (ouch🤪) .. 2-0 going into the fourth and one bad inning with walks and hits that found holes ended the game early .. Roiger with the loss with relief from Nick Beach , Mark Bowlby and Barkley .. Bunnies bats go quiet in final game of the weekend with Last and Ames connecting for singles .. can’t complain winning 3 of 4 ..CanAm playoffs this weekend with team function Wednesday August 5th to close out the 2026 summer season .. ⚾️🐰😁

Bunnies get rained out on Saturday before splitting a pair of games Sunday in Montreal versus the Montreal Titans . Game 1 - Titans 18🤪 Bunnies 8 .. carbon copy of game versus Titans in earlier matchup in Plattsburgh tourney as pitching and defence was less than stellar . Bunnies pitchers struggled allowing 13 hits , 8 walks and hit 7 batters(ouch) while the team in the field didn’t help making 7 errors .. Charlie Todd takes the loss with relief from Aaron Roy , JJ Easton and Eamon Morrison .. Max DeCoteau(s,d,rbi) , Roy(s,d,rbi) and Zadok Roiger all with 2 hits . Lukus Doak(rbi) , James Spooner(rbi) , Parker Ames and Matt Barkley singled … Game 2 - Bunnies 13 Titans 1 .. good bounce back game that was called when mercy rule came into effect .. Roiger with the dominant start and win going 5 innings giving up 4 hits , 1 earned run . Equally impressive was the 67 pitches and 52 strikes . Hopefully all pitchers took notes on what happens when a pitcher throws strikes and works quick .. Wyatt Last returned to form with 3 hits(s,d,t,3rbis) ..Barkley singled and added inside the park homer with 3 rbis . Roiger doubled with 3 rbis while Todd(2rbis) and Nolan Orazietti singled . Bunnies make the most of 8 hits , 6 walks and 7 stolen bases .. Bunnies play a home game Wednesday night versus Kingston Jr Ponies18u starting at 6 at Fulford .. ⚾️🐰😁

Bunnies have another successful weekend winning 3 of 4 games to get overall record up to 15 wins with 10 losses and back to .500 in CanAm league play at 8-8 .. Saturday Game 1 - Bunnies 7 Reds Academy16u 6 .. Bunnies fall behind 6-0 early but score 3 in the fifth and 4 in the sixth for comeback win . Charlie Todd struggles with command which doesn’t happen often giving up 5 runs(3 earned) over 2 innings . Rookie Taylor Brayton has his best outing of the summer going 5 innings giving up 3 hits and 1 earned run to get the win only facing 19 hitters . Mark Bowlby doubled with singles by Parker Ames(2rbis) , Matt Barkley(rbi) and Zadok Roiger(rbi)… Game 2 - Reds 7 Bunnies 5 .. Bunnies hold 3-1 lead after 3 but give up 6 runs over the last four innings and couldn’t get it back . Bunnies score 2 in the seventh to make it interesting . JJ Easton gets the loss going 5 innings giving up 4 earned runs with 4 k’s . Nick Beach finishes up giving up 4 hits and 2 earned runs .. Todd(s,d,rbi) and Ames with 2 hits each . Barkley(rbi) , Bowlby and Lukus Doak singled ….. Sunday Game 1 Bunnies 10 Diamonds16u 7 .. Aaron Roy gets the win going a shaky 5 innings giving up 10 hits with 9 k’s( got the outs when needed) .. Eamon Morrison goes 1.2 innings giving up 3 earned runs(stuff plays just needs to learn how to put hitters away)..Barkley with the save …offensively games big blow was a Barkley 2-run homer with game tied 4-4 in the sixth and Bunnies don’t look back .. Barkley(s,d,hr,3rbis) and Roiger with 3 hits each . Bowlby and Doak with 2 hits each . Ames(2rbis) and Todd(rbi) both doubled … Game 2 - Bunnies 7 Diamonds 3 .. Roiger with complete game win giving up 7 hits , 3 earned runs with 4 k’s ( even more impressive as had to fill in for starting shortstop Wyatt Last the first three games of the weekend) .. Bunnies manufacture 7 runs on 4 hits , 7 walks and 6 stolen bases and some well placed bunts . Roiger(2rbis) , Ames , Roy and Nolan Orazietti all singled . Barkley and Burns enjoyed the game from the bleachers after the 3rd inning🤪…couple of highlights on the day were Morrison throwing a dart to home from left field nabbing a runner from scoring and big fella Ames swiping his first stolen base with ease .. Bunnies travel to Montreal this weekend to take on the Diamonds19u on Saturday and Montreal Titans on Sunday .. 🐰⚾️😁

Bunnies have a great weekend in Plattsburgh NY at the Floyd Rock Memorial tournament winning 3 of 4 games including tough 5-4 loss in finals to Watson Elite19u . Game 1 - Bunnies 3 Clinton County 2 .. game goes one extra inning .. Zadok Roiger finally trusted his fastball and goes 7 solid innings giving up 6 hits , 2 earned runs with 9 k’s getting the win . Matt Barkley with the save .. Parker Ames with 2 hits . Roiger doubled(rbi) with singles by Aaron Roy(rbi) , Lukus Doak and Nolan Orazietti …. Game 2 - Bunnies 5 Vermont Strikers 4 .. Bunnies score 3 in the seventh for comeback win .. tough blow for Bunnies as starting shortstop Wyatt Last gets run into fielding a ground ball and would be out for remainder of tournament .. Charlie Todd goes 4.1 innings giving up 3 earned runs with 7 k’s . JJ Easton picks up the win with 2.2 solid innings in relief giving up 1 hit with 4 k’s .. Barkley with 2 doubles .. Doak tripled..singles by Roiger(2rbis) , Mark Bowlby(rbi) , Ames , Todd , James Spooner and Taylor Brayton . Eamon Morrison with rbi groundout … Game 3 - Bunnies 13 Watson 9 .. last round robin game ended up just being a friendly as both Canadian teams had punched ticket to finals so gave both teams a chance to get more kids involved ..Morrison struggled early giving up 7 in first(including 3run shot to right) but showed some fight only allowing 1 run over next 3 innings . Brayton goes 1 scoreless inning as game was mutually called after 5 innings so teams could get home at decent hour .. loved the team didn’t quit after falling behind big .. Barkley (2s,hr,3rbis) and Roiger(3rbis) with 3 hits each . Barkleys 4th homerun of the season ties him with Vladdy😂..Brayton with 2 hits and 2 rbis . Roy and Pierce Stewart(rbi) both doubled and Doak(rbi) singled … Game 4 Finals Watson 5 Bunnies 4 .. Bunnies up 4-0 going into the sixth but give up 5 runs(only 1 earned) and couldn’t get it back .. Roy with outstanding start going 5.2 giving up 7 hits , 0 earned runs with 4 k’s . Barkley takes the loss giving up 1 earned run in 1.1 innings in relief .. Roy helped himself with 2 hits(s,d,rbi) . Roiger(rbi) and Todd(rbi) both doubled . Barkley(s,2bb,rbi) , Ames and Bowlby with singles .. all in all great weekend with contributions from everyone up and down the lineup .. Bunnies play at home this Saturday versus Reds Academy in doubleheader starting at 11 before travelling to Montreal Sunday to take on Diamonds16u in CanAm league action .. ⚾️🐰😁
