I am beyond proud of his work ethic, dedication, and resilience to adapt to a new team, home & school.

Amazing game with a solid 4-2 win 🏆 and a slightly crooked nose after a high stick to his face 🤦🏻‍♀️ (because why wear a cage anymore 🤷🏻‍♀️)…

He wasn’t even born yet, and we already knew he was going to be a hockey player.

From the first time he stepped foot on the ice, he has been determined to work hard and go after his hockey dreams. 🏒

It’s been him & I for 14 years and tomorrow he will be off to follow his dreams and play Jr. A hockey for the Brockville Braves.

I’m excited for him, but selfishly I’m not ready for him to move out. I never thought I would be an empty nester so young, but I’m so proud of his determination and drive.

With every change comes challenges, but with every change comes opportunities.

I love you Ave! I’m going to miss you so much! I’m so proud of you! 💙 🏒
