Nel 2019 sulla via del ritorno dal Budokan (appena dopo che è stata scattata questa foto), Shuichi Aragaki Sensei (Discepolo di Chojun Miyagi Sensei e e primo insegnante di Nakamura Sensei) ha detto a Nakamura Sensei che i kata che abbiamo eseguito durante le dimostrazioni erano esattamente identici a quelli che lui aveva imparato da suo Maestro, Chojun Miyagi Sensei. In 2019, on our way back from the Budokan, just after this photo was taken, Shuichi Aragaki Sensei — a disciple of Chojun Miyagi Sensei and Nakamura Sensei’s first teacher — told Nakamura Sensei that the kata we had performed during the demonstrations were exactly the same as those he himself had learned from his teacher, Chojun Miyagi Sensei.
He was very happy to see, once again, that we in the IOGKF are preserving and spreading the essence of Goju-Ryu without altering it.
The English edition of the book on the life of Aragaki Sensei, written by Nakamura Sensei, will soon be available, and as soon as it is released, we will proceed with the Italian translation!
