SHUDOKAN FAMILY KARATE CENTRE is dedicated to bringing great martial arts programs (Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate) and services to the City of Burlington, Ontario. Our members join for many different reasons such as Fitness, Self Defense, Wellness, Competition, and Child Development (Discipline, Respect). Whatever their reasons for starting, we will help all our members better themselves in a fun and exciting atmosphere. Our World Class Team Of Karate Educators will always provide the highest level of martial arts experience for all students at all levels. To teach all our classes with excitement and enthusiasm, providing a fun and safe atmosphere! We will help all our student not only achieve, but succeed in all of their goals. All our junior members will be taught quality martial arts program, NOT just how to kick or punch! We will always put the Students first and have an open door policy, to allow our club to grow as a family. We promote physical fitness and positive social interaction in a courteous and respectful atmosphere. Our greatest responsibility is to instill in our students a sense of discipline and a code of ethics to inspire them to lead exemplary lives as leaders in the community. I am at Toronto Pearson Airport, waiting for my flight to Edinburgh, Scotland!

I had a little trouble checking in because I didn’t realize that Canadians now need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to enter the UK. I had to apply quickly at the airport—there is always something new! 😅

Everything is sorted now, and I’m ready to travel. I’m looking forward to training with everyone at the Lambert Gasshuku!
